Meet the Founders
A professional bassist with over two decades on stage, Sheila has performed at Java Jazz Festival, Prambanan Heritage Jazz Festival, Jazz Gunung Bromo, and the World Youth Jazz Festival in Kuala Lumpur, among many others. She has shared the stage with Gita Gutawa, Dewi Sandra, Tompi, Rieka Roslan, Angel Pieters, Elfa's Singers, and many more. In 2004, she won Best Bassist at Festival Budaya Jakarta and took first place at Jazz Goes to Campus with Starlite. She also co-wrote "Sampai Akhir Hidupku" with her Bebop co-founder Winny Jessica Setiawan and fellow JPCC Worship members, which won Best Christian Spiritual Lyric Production at Anugerah Musik Indonesia 2018. With that kind of background, when Sheila selects musicians for Bebop, she knows exactly what good sounds like, and she won't settle for anything less.

A vocalist, songwriter, vocal arranger, and vocal director who has been singing since she was three years old. Trained by her father, a choir conductor, she went on to study under Goosye and Indra Aziz. She has been part of JPCC Worship - True Worshippers since 2006, performed as a backing vocalist for Indonesian Idol, Shandy Sandoro, Sammy Simorangkir, and Milane Fernandez, and written songs for Regina, the first champion of Indonesian Idol 2012. Her album Christmas Gift features "We Are the Reason (Karena Kita)", a duet with Sidney Mohede that was nominated for Best Christian Spiritual Lyric Production at Anugerah Musik Indonesia 2018. That same year, "Sampai Akhir Hidupku", co-written with Sheila Permatasaka and fellow JPCC Worship members, won the award in the same category. With that kind of experience behind her, when it comes to selecting singers for Bebop, she knows exactly what great singing sounds like, and every singer has to meet that bar.
